Baby safety and supervision

Babies must not be left unattended at any time during the baby spa session. Parents or carers remain responsible for the supervision and safety of their child throughout the experience.

Bubble Babies cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings, including prams, car seats or vehicles.

 

Payment and booking confirmation

Payment for all goods and services is made through the online booking system. A confirmation email will be sent once payment has been completed. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk or spam folder.

Cancellations

Bubble Babies is a small business that relies on advance bookings. All bookings are non-refundable, including in cases of illness. Please ensure you are comfortable with this policy before booking.

In rare and exceptional circumstances, Bubble Babies may offer a partial refund of up to 80 percent to cover booking fees and associated costs. Any such decision is at the sole discretion of Bubble Babies and is final.

 

Rearranging sessions

Bubble Babies will endeavour to rearrange a booked session, subject to availability, where a request is made at least 48 hours before the original session time.

Rearranged sessions must take place within two months of the original booking date. If all sessions within this period are fully booked, rearrangement will not be possible.

Special sessions cannot be transferred to other special sessions. If a special session is rearranged, it will be moved to a standard session.

If a baby exceeds the age limit before a rearranged session takes place, rearrangement will not be possible.

Sessions may be gifted to a friend or family member, provided the baby meets the age requirements and Bubble Babies is notified at least 48 hours in advance by email at hello@bubblebabies.co.uk.

If Bubble Babies cancels your session

In the unlikely event that Bubble Babies needs to cancel a session for any reason, you will be contacted as soon as possible using the details provided during booking. You will be offered either a full refund or the option to reschedule.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers entitle one parent or carer and one baby, up to approximately 12 months of age, to a baby spa session.

It is the responsibility of the voucher holder to book and attend the session before the baby exceeds the age limit. Gift vouchers are non-refundable, may be gifted to another family, and expire 12 months from the date of purchase.

 

Illness

Please do not attend your booked session if you or your baby have a serious or contagious illness, including but not limited to:

• Covid-19

• Conjunctivitis

• Hand, foot and mouth disease

• Measles

• Chicken pox

• German measles

• Whooping cough

• Impetigo

• Scarlet fever

• Norovirus

• Vomiting and or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours

This policy is in place to protect babies, parents and staff.

Health and safety and infection control

Bubble Babies undertakes regular checks of venues and equipment to ensure they are clean and safe. All equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between sessions.

Bubble Babies has completed the Infection Control for Children’s Activity Providers course accredited by the Children’s Activities Association.

Bubble Babies is committed to providing equal opportunities and a welcoming environment for all families, regardless of race, culture, language, gender, age, religion, background, ability or disability.

Data protection

Information provided during the booking process contains personal data. This data is stored securely and processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal data will not be shared with third parties.

Photography, privacy and safeguarding

Photography may take place during sessions for promotional purposes, including use on the website and social media, unless you opt out during the booking process.

Parents and guests may take photographs of their own baby but must not photograph or film other attendees. Flash photography is not permitted.

If you tag Bubble Babies in social media posts, this may be reshared. Consent for promotional use may be withdrawn at any time by contacting hello@bubblebabies.co.uk.

Late arrivals

We understand that delays can happen. However, if you arrive late, sessions cannot be extended or rescheduled.

Sessions follow a set structure, beginning with photos, followed by the baby spa experience and finishing with the wind down massage. If any part of the session is missed due to late arrival, it may not be possible to recreate it later.

 

Mobile phone policy

For the session leader
Once a session has begun, phone calls cannot be answered in order to fully support families attending. If you need to make contact, please send a text message and this will be responded to as soon as possible.

For parents and guests
To maintain a calm and focused environment:

• Mobile phones must be set to silent

• Phone calls should not be taken during sessions

• Guests should not enter the room while on a call
